Ali currently serves as a Bilingual Registration Coordinator at the front desk of Ethnē Health Clinic, where he assists and interprets for patients from diverse backgrounds. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering and Exploration of Mines from Kabul Polytechnic University.
His professional background is diverse, encompassing experience in both technical and humanitarian roles. Notably, he worked in a clinically related capacity as a coordinator of food distribution for malnourished children in Herat, Afghanistan.
Following the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan in August 2021, Ali was forced to leave his home country due to safety concerns. He arrived in the United States at the end of 2022 and quickly sought opportunities to support others facing similar transitions. His first position in the U.S. was as a Community Liaison, where he assisted newly arrived refugees in the Atlanta area, helping them navigate resources and adjust to life in a new country.
Now, at Ethnē Health Clinic, he continues to serve the community by helping patients access healthcare and providing interpretation services. He is deeply passionate about helping others and finds great fulfillment in contributing to their well-being.
Outside of work, he enjoys staying active and spending time in nature. He particularly loves playing soccer (football), as well as hiking, walking, and biking.
