William Smith
Gap Year Intern
Hunter serves as a gap year intern at Ethnē Health, where he contributes to both the resource team by connecting patients to specialists and the clinical team by performing intake. He is continuing to develop his Spanish proficiency in the hopes of interpreting for patients during their visits as well.
Hunter grew up in Chattanooga, TN. He attended the University of Virginia for undergrad and studied Biomedical Engineering. Since then, he has lived in Orlando, Florida and Washington, D.C., where he worked in a pediatrician's office and a CCHF clinic, and then for the National Prayer Breakfast, respectively.
Last year, during his internship with the National Prayer Breakfast, Hunter traveled through the United States, South Africa, and Romania (where he learned to drive stick shift), helping with a service project in each of these places. Outside of work, he loves playing tennis and spending time outside, whether that be fishing or hunting.
