Amena enjoys helping patients from all different cultures and backgrounds. She tries to make sure people feel welcomed, heard, and comfortable, and it makes her happy knowing she can help patients feel a little more at ease while they’re receiving care.

​

Originally from Afghanistan, and studied Food Technology/Food Science. She spent about a year in the UAE in a refugee camp before coming to Atlanta in 2022. Amena first connected with Ethne Health as a patient and later in 2024 helped as a volunteer, where she spent six months serving at Ethne Health and Clarkston community She is now happy to be part of the team in her role as Registration Coordinator.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, especially hiking together. She also enjoys cooking and writing. She is grateful for the opportunity to support others and be part of a community that makes a difference.
