Ashleigh Jarrous
Gap Year Intern
Ashleigh Jarrous is a gap year intern at Ethnē Health, where she supports both the clinical and resource teams through patient intake, scribing, and connecting patients with local specialists. She graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she studied biology, chemistry, and medical humanities.
Born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, Ashleigh is the daughter of a Syrian immigrant father and a mother from the Midwest.
Growing up in a multicultural home and guided by her faith, she was drawn to Ethnē’s mission to provide high-value healthcare to people of all ethnicities. As an intern and aspiring physician, she hopes to learn from both her patients and the Ethnē team on how to best serve communities of diverse cultures and backgrounds through medicine.
Outside of work, Ashleigh enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, exploring new places, and sharing life with her friends and family.
