Razia serves as a Medical Assistant at Ethnē Health. She completed her education in Afghanistan before pursuing midwifery, inspired by the needs she saw in her community. She went on to work as a midwife in the maternity ward of a large hospital supported by Médecins Sans Frontières. After moving to the U.S., Razia earned her Medical Assistant diploma from Georgia Piedmont Technical College.
In 2019, Razia came to the U.S. with her husband and two children through the Special Immigration Visa program. As a refugee herself, she understands the challenges of starting over in a new country. Her own family received care at Ethnē, and the compassion she experienced inspired her to join the team. Today, she finds fulfillment in serving others, especially refugees navigating language and cultural barriers.
Outside of work, Razia enjoys reading, going for walks, and watching movies with her family.
